Hornby Hall - free event
Visual Art Exhibition at the Community Hall Throughout the Festival
Multi-media artist and long-time Hornby Island resident Michael Hornsby makes exclusive use of found objects
as the inspiration for and material basis of his creations in various media. The Hornby Festival is pleased
to bring Michael's work to the inside of the Hall, as we are all so familiar with his impressive installations
on the outside of the Hall. The exhibition of his new work will feature an illuminated installation and survey
of new and re-constituted elements, focusing on the mutable nature of the artist's work as it has evolved over time.

Back again is the Hornby Festival highlight, Art in Unusual Places. You could find a classical trio in the woods, sweet folk harmonies on the beach or foot-tapping fiddle music in the Ringside Market. These 15-minute spot appearances are free to the public (donations accepted) and we hope they will inspire you to come and take in the evening performances of these fabulous artists.
